Hi, I’m Amber Riley! I was born and raised in the Texas Panhandle, and graduated from Frank Phillips College with an Associate of Arts and Science degree, before making a pit stop at WTA&MU for one year. My husband Chris and I moved to Lubbock, where I finished my undergraduate work and graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and a minor in Special Education. Eventually, I went back to school at Wayland Baptist University and earned my Master of Education in Diagnostics.
I have worked in the education field teaching pre-k, 1st grade, and high school (credit recovery, content master, and online dual credit). I have also worked as the 504 and Testing Coordinator at a large high school in the area for 4 years before moving east of Lubbock and becoming a school diagnostician for 6 years. Currently, I am the Junior High and High School Student Success Coordinator at a small district northeast of Lubbock.
I now live in Idalou, and have been married for 29 years. My husband and I have 2 grown children that are both married, and 1 precious granddaughter. In my spare time, you will find me spending time with family, attending church, loving on and spoiling the grandbaby, traveling, working at an event center, and learning the real estate world.
